How to get to the application:

 

From the home page click on the link provided to run the application.

 

Application Page:

 

Leaflet Map:

On the top of the page you will see a map that was created using leaflet.

You can zoom in an out by using the zoom in/out features on the top right side of the map. 

You can also click and drag the mouse to view different areas on the map.

 

Hurricane List:

Displays a list of Hurricanes according to the filter selected by the user.

User can filter the Hurricane list by selecting filter by year, top 5/10 windspeed, or view all Hurricanes at once.

 

Hurricane Count Graph:

Displays a graph of number of Hurricanes per year since 2005 in the Atlantic/Pacific.

Graph updates as user selects another Hurricane or filter.

The graph allows the user to see the frequency of Hurricanes in a given time.

 

Hurricane Intensity Graph:

Displays a line graph of max-wind-speed/min-pressure over a year for the selected hurricane.

Graph updates as user selectes another Hurricane or filter.
