Analysis

The first important thing to understand is the meaning of the x and y axis. The x axis represents years and the y axis represents number of championships won. Each circle is plotted according to the span of time it took to win that many championships.

Each circle size correlates with the franchise value of that team in USD. There is 3 different sizes. Smallest one is $750m and largest one is $3B.

You can filter which sport teams you would like to view by selecting view all teams or by selecting a specific team like football or baseball. The graph will update dynamically.

If you do not select a sport to filter by it automatically load all sports teams. You can see how they are plotted below by circle size(Franchise value) and by number of championships won given a time span.

When you hover over a circle a discripton box will appear like below. Also information on circle will appear as well.

On the circle you can view the Forbes' ranking as well as Franchise value. The pop-up box will display team name, number of championships, and total number of years completed for that team.

When you view all sports teams. Each circle color matches a specific sport. For example, blue represents American Football and red represents baseball.
